my so called recipe for deployment cookies:
First of all you must go to the store at least three times before you actually remember to buy the stuff you need for the cookies..then you must forget your list and have to get a bag of chocolate chips and read the back grabbing ingrediants as you go..you must also be dealing with a teething baby whos only comfort is your left hand..of course you must walk past each ingredient at least three times and also you must go during a time of the time were you will find yourself in line for at least 30 mins and the battery in your car remote must die as you attempt to unlock the vehicle and when you use the key the car alarm must go off. once you get home you must wait till 10 pm when the kids are finally asleep and you have a few mins to yourself and when you start to make the cookies you must realize nothing is clean that you need. wash only what you need and then realize the only counter space is actually the washing machine of course the entire time you must think about how you really should be doing laundry but he wants these cookies so laundry can wait...agian...you must burn at least two dozen cookies and drop at least one egg on the floor. when all cookies are done you must pack them up and put them in the care package tape it up slap a label on it and stick it by the front door next spend the next thirty mins staring at the box thinking about how bad you want one of those cookies...force yourself to go to sleep..when you show up at the PO the next day make sure to forget the customs form. sprinkle with a few temper tantrums and people who stare at you with pity but never offer to help and you have deployment cookies!!!
