Just got off the phone with DHs mother... She sent him a package today, she said the flat rate boxes were to small so she used a bigger one...
And she said that his sister sent him a 20 pound box...
So now Im thinking Ill hold off on sending my first one, because holy cow, thats a lot of stuff...

lol yeah it is. but you can still send yours, cuz it would really mean something to him. Im sure if he keeps gettin stuff from family he'll be like oh ok another from them, but if he got it from you that'd probably mean a lot more to him. i mean thats what i do, and i talked to his mom about it and we agreed that we each wont send too much, but just enough lol.

If he doesn't have any storage space, don't send him a whole lot of stuff b/c you feel the need to keep up. It's going to be more of a pain for him than anything, especially if he has to trash stuff because there's nowhere to put it. My brother's been living in a warehouse w/ 70 other guys for 5 months, so we keep everything in his care packages edible and small! Also, there are some size/weight limits for sending packages there. Check the USPS website.
