I posted a few weeks ago about how impressed I was with san diego, but I just have to :blahblah again :lol

When we first arrived, I thought it was seriously overrated but I swear that I am just more impressed with it each time I venture out. Now that the heat wave is over and the weather is finally nice again, it's just an amazing place to be. Its sooooo BEAUTIFUL. Every time I go out, I find new places and new things to see/do. There is always something new! I'm just totally digging it. I didn't think I would at first. I was starting to wonder why people always talked it up so much, but I really do fall in love with it more and more, each time I go out of the house. There is always SOMETHING to do, SOMETHING to see.... I love it!

I'm glad you like it there. I wish I was living back there, but I love where I live too. :)

It is a very nice place. I feel like I could live here for a long time and not see/do everything. The only thats gets me down about it is the weather at this time of year. Its still just as sunny and beautiful as always and I feel like it should be getting cooler and the leaves should be changing. I miss having seasons.

I (L) it here, but I still want to move to Hawaii. :giggle The more ocean, the better for me. :D

I wouldn't mind moving to hawaii too! :lol Plus I've heard the housing there is nice also :teehee

I don't really mind the lack of seasons right now because I'm coming from the place of HELL, where I was stuck in the COLD season for too long. So, this warm is pretty much welcomed by us. At least for this year. I might be singing a different tune next year when I'm tired of sunshine :lol

The drive to Julian made me :pukey It was awful. Big bear looks nice, long drive, but I want to live somewhere where the leaves change and the weather changes. I miss that. But I (L) San Diego in every other aspect.

There is only one problem with San Diego: can't afford to live here! :( I wish we could afford to buy a house here. My family lives here, it's where I grew up. But alas, we'll never settle down here, because we want land and a house, etc, and we'll never have that here. I hate the home prices, they're friggin ridiculous. Thank goodness for military housing.

Now since you are from JAX, tell me the differences :D
I know you were worry about the COL so now that you are actually living there, has it impact you much on that aspect?

Yeah we loved it there also... My children would never be able to afford to stay even remotely close when they were out of the house. No way we could afford a home either...

We are entering my favorite time of the year. I think, IMO, that the fall weather here is the best. It isn't too hot and no marine layer. There is so much to do too. Fleet week is coming, the red bull air race is next weekend, http://www.thebigbay.com/events/details.asp?eventID=1312, next month there is the races at north island and the following weekend is the miramar air show.
We love living here. :D
