retrvinfool 09-15-2007, 08:32 PM you find yourself missing him (or her) the most? My man competes in Scottish Athletics and today I went to a highland games and saw some of his friends. Everyone was asking about him. It was a nice day and didn't feel sad until I started to walk back to the car by myself. I started to tear up and realized that while it was a good day something about it was empty. I just missed him so. What things do you find yourself doing that just aren't the same without him here?

mrsjones0520 09-15-2007, 09:43 PM I really miss not having him here to golf with-we always have alot of fun when we go golfing together. Also, I really miss having him here around the house with stuff like burning the trash and cooking. He'll chatter away while I'm cleaning or cooking and I miss his chatter and all his goofy stories

Yay for another DCI fan!!!!!! I love DCI's. It is hard to watch. I went to the semi-finals at the movie theater with my boyfriend before he left. I watched finals on ESPN and cried for the night.
YAY for DCI!!!

Brittany Rashel 09-16-2007, 12:34 PM This one's obvious, hanging out with his friends. Ever since DB left I've gotten really close to his friends. There are three or four that I hang out with one on one but there are always alot of get togethers on the weekends that I go to. It's whenever someone says something funny or sarcastic that I know DB would have just jumped right on to say something back and I catch myself wondering what he would do if he were here.

I'm the same way. It's so hard to be around his friends but I seek them out when I can because it helps me feel connected to him. I think he likes it too because it means that I am still part of his social world....besides that way he can check up on me :giggle
jlbecker 09-16-2007, 05:51 PM everything.
going out to dinner. hanging out with friends together. lazy sundays, ordering pizza and watching movies.
Bryanna 09-16-2007, 05:54 PM i miss him driving. i dont like driving at all so whenever i get stuck in a crappy situation (bad driver, traffic etc) i miss him more... normally HE was happy to deal with it while i just sang with the radio.
i also miss our little chats before we fell asleep... its too quiet at night now.
