I found this out last night when the woman at the US Airways desk was being a total :censored-
The TSA & USO have a standing agreement that family members and close friends can get gate passes to greet service members returning from a war zone.
If someone argues this with you ask to speak to the gate manger because they should know that this is part of their SOP. We had a group of Airmen returning from Iraq last night and the woman actually argued with me about letting his wife, daughter and good friend greet him at the gate. The director came down and sorted things out but that is the info he gave me later. If any of your SO's are coming home and you are meeting them at the airport don't forget you can do this!!
