I'm so glad it's almost over.. I have a ton to do before Thursday. My inlaws will be down then.. (thank goodness most of them are staying in a hotel) I'm cooking dinner for the family that night, so we're having spaghetti and garlic bread. Rich we are not, so they aren't getting surf and turf.. LOL

I am so excited for this process to be over. And I know my husband is as well.

Yep, we're happy and i'm busy. My house isn't the way I want it when my mil gets here on Thurs. night.
Our pinning is in the afternoon, so maybe Fri. morning my mil and the kids(i'm keeping them out of school) will go to Cracker Barrell for breakfast.

Today he's super busy and won't be home until late. Tomorrow he said would be the lightest day we have......Wednesday is a full day plus family events that night, then Thursday.......dum dum dum......haha.

He gets pinned friday afternoon!!! He put his uniform on for me the other day and he just looked amazing!

who knows what this week is going to be like for us. he is hoping to be home in time tonight for back to school night for our son. the weekend was easy, they didnt have anything going on. i pick up his khakis from the cleaners today for pinning. they have to take those in on wednesday. chokers and whites are both going to the cleaners today for decom stuff next week. i am anxious to see the list of junk they have to take with them thursday night. i have heard they ask for some crazy stuff!

oh my gosh the list for Thursday?? lord.........it's so long and crazy. Part of the group that isn't really having to work is heading to Costco to buy supplies.

My dh will get his list tomorrow, I guess. I think they'll have time to get their stuff. We're kind of anxious to see ours. My friend's dh made Chief last year and I guess he was really stressing obout their list. He gave it to my friend to find the stuff for him.:P
I just picked up dh's uniforms from the cleaner/tailors. All of his pants had to be hemmed up, he's so short.
We found out this morning he made his measurements. We were both so stessed about that last night that we didn't sleep. He lost over 30 lb., but this was the first time a lot of it came off in his neck.:vent

WOW! Congratulations to him!!!!!

mine officially lost 24lbs and 7% body fat. He needed to lose a little, but we really resolved to eat well and I honestly think that between that and his PT (mind you he is limited duty) his metabolism flew off the charts.

His PRT was this morning.. wondering how that went since he's in some pretty bad pain.. his ribs are still hurting him, and his knee's acting up.

He lost 8lbs according to the weigh in last week.

I finished up getting the stuff for his list today.. I'll gather up the things he needs from here at home soon..

Who knows what time he'll be home.. one day it's 15:30, the next its 2100.
