I have 2 of those flat rate boxes that you get from the USPS how much will it cost to mail one overseas?

It all depends on how much it weighs and the length. Plus if you add insurance to it.

if it's flat rate then the weight doesn't matter. I have no idea the length it's the one that you get from calling the 1800 number.

Don't forget, APO addresses are not overseas for shipping purposes. Shipping to any base around the world should also be US costs.

Envelopes

• The box must close securely and retain its shape when taped with adhesive.
• The shape of the box may not be changed or enlarged to fit its contents.

flat rate is always 8.95 for me. Nothing is better than having the people at the post office know who you are and also knowing the exact amount you will pay. ha

I just went to the post office today and talked to the guy that works there. He gave me 2 boxes that are different shapes that are free with a flat rate fee of $8.95. He also gave me some of the cutoms forms. Go talk to your local PO they will hook you up with the boxes!:mrgreen

yup as long as you don't mishape the box you can put up to 70lbs in there and it will only cost 8.95 i am sure you know this, but you can order the flat rate boxes online for free. along with the custom forms too, so you don't have to go the post office and grab some ( incase they are out or low)

yeaaah thanks for the advice rosebud!!! I saw you posted that info somewhere on here and i ordered 25 flat rate boxes, 10 flat rate envelopes, and 35 custom forms:):):) i am one happy camper right now....my husband deploys in ten days and that man is getting WHATEVER HE WANTS:)
