I wish he would just not tell me hes going out on missions, like the really dangerous one :sigh cuz then that gets me to kinda worrying about him. But i do understand why he is telling me that, but still...:duh.

But on a side note we talked for like 15 minutes and he had to go, cuz he needed his sleep since he'd be off in 3 hours to do his mission.:mumble. oh well i enjoyed it though.

I missed mine's phone call because I was out with the kiddo for her bday dinner. He'll probably leave about the same time as your DF:( :sigh
You're right, it does up the stress and worry when they tell us they're going out, but I'd still rather know, though it's still hard not to get excited everytime I hear a friend sign onto MSN, even though I know he's not able, lol.

I agree but on the other hand I love to talk to him....BTW I'm nervous he said that he's gonna be on AIM 9pm my time tonight and that "He needs to talk to me" UH OH...hmmmmmm enver sounds to good. He said its not bad but I'm still worried. Ya just never know with these boys

DB tells me when he's going on missions too. He doesn't really get into specifics. But knowing he is on the road is enough for me to know there is danger. I HATE IEDS. Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with these people. I especially don't like that it is Ramadan right now.

He got on the road again about an hour and a half ago. He was so tired too :( We had a very good phone convo though. One of his friends was on the phone arguing w/ his wife... and db was like 'i am so glad you're not like his wife' :lol

i agree with the ramadan thing rick is about to go on one and hes going to be on the first convoy leaving from kuwait to iraq in the month of ramadan:(..but on the other hand its his last mission after this they just train people! just gotta look at it like that!

also rick has to tell me but he doesnt mind telling me as much cuz i used to be a convoy driver in the AF too before i got preggos so i dont freak out as much as some do you know the whole fear of the unknown and all that..but there are days i freak out more cuz i know what hes talking about and all the other wives are like oblivious..its a curse every now and then...:freakout
