We will be baptizing the baby wayyyyyyyyyyy early...My parents get here on our anniversary and they are staying a short time, we thought it would be something nice to do when they are here.

We got our papers to fill out. DH is going to meet with the Father on thursday.

Its so different in this religion as opposed to the Catholic Religion. We are allowed to have as many God Parents that we want to have. So we are going to do three of them. Also they do it during the church service, not seperately.

Oh I know, our girls are baptized catholic, but our son kinda got screwed, because the priest on base was being an ass. so he wouldn't baptize him for us. :rolleyes so we had a "dedication" ceremony at my friends church.. my mom says she is going to get him baptized one day.. i tell her go ahead. :giggle

that is great that you have it all planned and figured out already. I guess I should start thinking about that for my girls :giggle

i'm doing it when i go back to TX when dh goes underway sometime. i'm gonna go down for like a month with the baby and catch up with family and friends and all that and do the baptism then

what religion are you changing too, if i may ask. I'm catholic, but love to hear about others and am getting used to knowing about them all since my boyfriend's mos is chaplain's assistant

our youngest son was jsut baptised sunday...we are Catholic and it was incorporated into the service.....we had full immersion also....he was such a good baby! no crying....our kids are all baptised young with a huge family party after
