My husband got out of the Navy in August. I got pregnant in April & was seen by military doctors about my pregnancy up until July. Someone at work told me that if you get pregnant while your husband is active in the navy, that I can use tricare until I deliver? I had no clue! & that would be awesome, b/c we are paying out the ass for insurance for my medical bills!

i have never heard that. i have heard that tricare covers you for a bit after you get out but i am not sure how long. but to use tricare, you have to have an id card

That is not correct...I am being covered by tricare because of how was husband got out and such, so we were covered for six months after his date.

I just dont want people to think they cover you just cause you are pregnant.

She should check into it!
