View Full Version : Cramps that...
Jennygirl 09-18-2007, 03:14 PM Feel like im about to get my period, are these normal or arent they?
Ive had them all day today....But ive been just sitting around and taking it easy.
rosebud* 09-18-2007, 03:15 PM nope, that can be a sign of labor. sometimes contractions feel like cramps, I say get to the dr, to find out for sure!!!!
*Crystal* 09-18-2007, 03:15 PM When I had cramps like that, I was in labor and had her the next morning. Are they frequent or just one every hour or so...
Jennygirl 09-18-2007, 03:17 PM They arent frequent, they just come and go here and there...
I am going to start timing them and see what happens, they will tell me to do that anyways when i call.
Thanks ladies!
Jenny, do you have the site that helps you time them?
Mommy2Bailey 09-18-2007, 03:20 PM Sounds like labor to me
Mak327 09-18-2007, 03:26 PM yay!!! could be labor or just before... :labordust hopefully soon
MIKOSWIFEY 09-18-2007, 03:28 PM Yeah that was how I felt the night before labor REALLY came bearing down on me. I thought it would be cake. Eat what you can NOW, because you'll be in too much pain to eat if it is labor starting and you will need the energy. I'm so excited for you!
Brandi 09-18-2007, 03:29 PM :cp sounds like labor :cp
ashleykaymay 09-18-2007, 03:32 PM sounds like labor..or at least pre labor!
i'm not going to send you labor vibes for another few weeks. good luck, girl!
Tiffany 09-18-2007, 03:36 PM GOOD LUCK !!!

I dont think anyone has to.
Jenny I hate to sound like a total bitch but why are you not on the phone with your DR with the first twinge you feel? You just had a scare with preterm labor last week. Your hospital is not equipped to handle preemies. Call your DR!!!!!!

:yes
Kaymara 09-18-2007, 03:41 PM Instead of timing them call right away. Since you already had a pre term labor scare I wouldnt waste the time timing. I would call right away and see what they want you to do
MIKOSWIFEY 09-18-2007, 03:46 PM I think the Dr said she would be 36 weeks now so it's all good, but yeah if you can hold off at all for longer it would be great. More incubation is always better for bebes.

My baby came at 36 weeks and spent 12 days in the NICU.....36 weekers are not term babies

Exactly. There are still so many things that could go wrong.
MIKOSWIFEY 09-18-2007, 03:50 PM Why do they always want to come when they're not ready? :argh
harrisonsdream 09-18-2007, 03:51 PM Why do they always want to come when they're not ready? :argh
because they don't understand the importance of cooking longer.

Exactly!!!!
I really hope its nothing Jenny.
Trust me. I am having a bad day today because of all the milestones Grayce SHOULD be reaching, yet she is NOT because she was so preemie. :refuse
DO NOT WISH OR HOPE THIS IS IT! ITS NOT WORTH IT!
wolfspawprint 09-18-2007, 04:36 PM Hell, even 37 weekers have problems. Anthony was three weeks early based on my ultrasound, but I think he was really 36 and change weeks based on LMP (because there was absolutely no way that I could have gotten preggo before Aug 15th). Anthony spent two weeks on phototherapy for a pretty good case of jaundice. He also seems to be on the lower end for milestones. He's hitting them on time, but compared to his age group, he always seems to be at the tail end.
Jennygirl 09-18-2007, 04:53 PM I did call them and they said that since they arent frequent, i should be ok...
I am going to call them again if it happens again. I just increased my water drinking and they have actually stopped.
Thanks Bex, I am hoping it cooks for a little while longer!
