my family is finally here in San Diego. I like (not love) our house. We have been here almost two weeks now. We got here checked into housing got our keys and waited for the driver of the moving truck to call to let us know that our belongings where here and the call never came. Two days later still no call!! We called everyone we could think of including the truck driver's company and no one knew where our stuff was, only that it got here the day we arrived. Finally that afternoon property control suggest I call this storage company to see if they have our stuff, sure enough there is it was and has been for three days! And because it is Friday they could not bring out my belongings until the next Monday!!!!!!!! So Monday finally came and so did my belongings!!! All of last week dh and I have been unpacking in between playing with G&G. I thought it would take us three maybe four days to unpack but here is it over a week now and we are still unpacking. One reason we are still unpacking is that as of last Thursday I am burnt out of unpacking. I told dh I am done I need a break. I figured that we have two more weeks before dh check in to his now command so we can take this whole week off from unpacking

which housing are you in? We just got here a few weeks ago and are living in Orleck. Glad you're finally there and getting settled!

We were suppose to live in Orleck but I had them change it to Santo Terrace. I did not like the floor plans for that housing there. and we were going to live on a main street. where as here it is a circle

Take a few days break and just do a little bit here and there. Unpacking is a pain...

I'm not really thrilled with our place either. Its a one story and all the bedrooms are right here off of the main living area. Its hard to deal with when you've got a sleeping baby in one room while the other two want to screech and act like maniacs. But on the plus side, most of our neighbors are quiet, we're on a little circle so not much traffic, and I LOVE my yard. So, there are some pluses :D

Glad you got the area you wanted. We weren't given a choice. We had to accept the first thing offered and had to wait a month just for this to come available :nutts

I am pretty sure I know where you are at. I like the floor plans over here in Santo than I do with Aero and Orleck. I am right next to the school.

I was wonderin since there are a couple of us in this area maybe we can get together in one of the play areas one day. I need to get out and meet people! but I also don't like to go far because G&G can be a handfull at times
