LaneyBug 09-18-2007, 05:02 PM I just wanted to re-introduce myself. My name is Jamie and I'm an Airman's wife. Have been for more than 6 years. I was active duty before we started having kids. We have two, Tristan is 4, and Delaney is 2. One of the reasons I haven't been posting is that almost two years ago Tristan was diagnosed with autism. For any of you that have autistic children you know what the beginning is like...crazy!
Anyway, I am back now, and we are stationed at Langley in VA. Hope to get to know everyone.

We just moved from there in April. We were about a mile from Langley's back gate across from Gosnold's Hope Park (which you can see from the bridge)!

LaneyBug 09-18-2007, 06:54 PM Oh he's doing really well now. We got him in a special preschool right away last year. So much paperwork, got him diagnosed, read so many books. He has come a long way in a couple of years, and hehe, so have I.

My mother's family is from there. Their last name is Emery.
