when decidind on a dog- please take the following into consideration:
breed restrictions for your branches housing
that you are military and we move alot what is the chance that you will get transfered somewhere that has a breed restriction for your breed?

then if you have a specific dog breed in mind use one of the wonderful links posted, if not go to your nearest animal shelter and find a cute lovable dog or puppy-

Yes, if you know the breed you want, please look at the rescues... My hubby and I do Keesies, we have show dogs and we do rescue as well...

PetFinder has dogs from the local animal shelters as well as the rescues on there so you can see them all in one place. We found our dog on petfinder, but he came from the local humane society.
