My soldier's been gone a little over a month now and the last few days are what have been the hardest. I miss him sooo much and I would give anything just to hear his voice. He left for his first long field mission on Sunday, and the only contact that I've had with him has been a few IM's here and there. You see, I'm used to receiving calls home which is why this is such an adjustment for me. I hope that he calls soon. Well, I hope that everyone has a great night! Thanks for listening... lol

Hang in there!! Deployment's are a big shock to the sytem than when you go without contact it hits you again. It gets easier, if not better, with time. Hugs!!

its gonna be hard. i got alot of phone calls in the beginning and hen they dwindled down to once a week unless he went on long missions. we stopped doing the IM thing too. our emails were usually over myspace
